Yikes, there has not been much art action happening here lately, has there! There's a couple reasons for that.
First, I'm currently preparing for VCon, the local sci-fi/fantasy convention. This is my first year with a dealer's table there, and I am basically going to try and be a one-woman artist's alley, so I have a LOT to do! The con starts on October 7th, so I've been doing a lot of smaller stuff, such as charms and keychains, to prepare.
And second, I have a new job! Well, fairly new, since I just finished my third week there. I'm working at a small handmade greeting card company, and the main part of my job is (surprise surprise) making cards. The transition from not working to suddenly working full-time has left me tired and not feeling like doing art stuff.. but hopefully I'll get used to it soon!
